They say life doesn't come with a manual—it comes with a mother. They're our tireless teachers, constant champions, voices of reason, and shoulders to lean on. This Mother’s Day, in celebration of the incredible women who have taught us everything we know and shaped our lives in countless ways, we asked our team to share how the mothers (and mother figures) in their lives have inspired them. Here’s what they said.
My wife, Amy, is probably the most genuinely kind person I've ever met, and she makes me want to be a better human being. Amy is an incredible mother, and watching the love and care she uses in every action that involves our children is remarkable. She is raising three very special human beings who all reflect her personality and values. The world would be better if we all learned from her thoughtfulness, gentle nature, and patience.

Moms truly make the world go 'round! My mom, Eileen, is the kindest, funniest, fiercely loyal lady I know! She always feels like home to me. My mom raised four kids, which requires a good sense of humor and a lot of patience. She taught us all the Golden Rule: treat everyone the way you want to be treated.
- Shannon Wallin, Director of Planning
The center of our big family is my mom, Bella. She is truly selfless and the most caring person I've ever met, always thinking of others first and reminding everyone of the importance of family. She inspires me because she knows how to make people feel loved, welcomed, and special. She's also the best cook ever.
- George Vasilopoulos, Director of Production
My mom, Sheri, inspires me in more ways than one. She is the most caring person I know and immediately lights up a room. Her kindness and openness are contagious and instantly noticed by anyone who meets her. She inspires me to want to be a better person and encourages me to wear my heart on my sleeve–confidently. She inspires me to want to be a mother someday, and I hope to be even half the mom she has been to me. Her creativity is something I feel lucky to inherit, and it's also a skill I continue to learn from her. I trust her style immensely and frequently ask her opinion. Her advice when it comes to style and in life is always to listen to your gut and trust your intuition.

I learned the art of conversation from my mother, JoAnn. Naturally gregarious, she could talk to strangers with ease and would have conversations with anyone, anywhere, at any time. This used to embarrass me as a teenager, but I later realized it was a great skill because interacting with the world broadens your perspective. You can even learn new things! My mom passed away a few years ago, but I'm carrying the torch—and now I'M the one embarrassing MY teenager.
